I grew up in Fresno, California and spent most of my time exploring around the Sierra Nevada's with my brother and good friends. I moved on from California and up into Oregon were I became a student at the University of Oregon. I am a recent graduate from the school of Journalism and Communication where I studied journalism with a concentration in photojournalism.  

 

I have always loved to tell stories of the athletes that are in outdoor community around me. As a visual journalist I understand that great stories don't happen overnight. They take time and in order to capture raw, powerful moments, I must immerse myself in the community around me.
